While related to acupuncture, EFT does not use needles. Instead you use the tips of your fingers to gently tap on various traditional Chinese acupuncture points while speaking about the issue, illness or discomfort that you feel.
EFT tapping can be a useful tool for helping to reduce specific symptom complaints like pain, headache or shortness of breath. It can also be used to address what we might call limiting thoughts or beliefs like “I’m not good at making small talk” or “I’m too shy”. EFT tapping can also be used to go more deeply to help with the healing of “heart traumas” big and small, that are the result of events and experiences in our past.
